I finished my first week of school as a real teacher. Whoa. I cannot believe how tired I was at the end of each day! Especially since my first week was only three days! But as much as there was for me to plan and coordinate, new rules to learn and schedules to memorize, I was delighted by the warm welcome that was offered to me by most of the parents of my students. I also feel so blessed to have the staff support and encouragement of my colleagues. I know that as the year goes on and I am able to get my bearings, it's going to be an amazing experience I will NEVER forget!
