Our Little Tree

Nefty is pretty excited that the tree isn't much taller than him.

The last red star

Not sure what Sol is doing here...striking a pose I guess. He is so difficult with the camera sometimes.

Finally a decent smile from them...and Sol insisted on crossing his arms across his chest with a little attitude. :)

Instead of a real tree this year, we decided on an artificial one. It was a little sad at first, because I love the smell of a real tree. But to keep things simple - and cleaner - we decided artificial was the way to go. Yes, it's tiny - 4' to be exact. But it's perfect for us, and we love it. We couldn't get to our box of ornaments, so I just picked up a few inexpensive decorations and some ribbon at Michael's (arts & crafts store). Nefty made a star in Sunday school this morning, and it added the perfect final touch, resting against the top bow. Now I just need to wrap up a few presents and stick them underneath!
