Happy Birthday, Husband!

When did February get here? I can't believe I haven't posted for two months! Obviously that tells you that we've been very busy. Over the Christmas holiday we did some traveling. Then I jumped right back in to school. This is a crazy time of year, with lots of district testing. Not to mention, after school has been busy at home with three growing boys! Plus, my sweet husband had his birthday on January 18th. We celebrated by enjoying dinner for two at a tiny but delicious Lebanese restaurant in Portland. Awww...the perks of living so close to a big city!

Here we are, February 16th, Liam's first birthday! I cannot believe that my baby is one year old already! He is almost walking, standing on his own without holding on to anything. But not quite ready to take any solo steps. He is very eager to keep up with his big brothers, though, and moves quite fast as a crawler! Turn your head away, and he is booking down the hallway after Neftali and Solomon, trying to keep up!

Just two days ago, on February 14th, Emilio and I celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary! It's hard to believe that it's been 8 years. Wow. We have been through a lot, and have grown to love each other so much more deeply than I know I could have imagined possible. I am so blessed to have Emilio as my husband, father to my children, and partner in life. Thank you Lord!

Now to prepare for the next two birthdays brimming on the horizon. Solomon will be three on March 16th, and Neftali will be 5. I only wish I could slow down time, just a little bit. My little boys are growing up much to fast!
