Today we went to Hiper Pais, the local version of Walmart. The are actually affiliates - the employees wear name tags that have 'Walmart' on one side. Thank goodness for this store! It has most of the basics, including many things that we regularly use in the states. However, there are also many things that cannot be found there, like horseradish and Worchestershire sauce, to name a few (I was going to try to make a Rachel Ray recipe but it didn't really work).
